PITTSBURG, Kan. – Over in Pittsburg, Jolly Fox Brewery decided to take advantage of game day with “Small Brewery Sunday.”

The idea is to encourage patrons to drink local while they’re out holiday shopping on the weekend.

Jolly Fox offered specials on their menu and merchandise for the occasion.

The deals kept foot traffic moving at a steady pace throughout the day.

“Actually, this weekend business did pick up quite a bit. We had different deals going for merchandise like cups, mugs and different things like that…tee shirts and hoodies, so we did sell probably more merchandise than we normally do,” said Craig Cowardin with Jolly Fox Brewery.

Jolly Fox also hosted a viewing party for the Chiefs game.
