WEBB CITY, Mo. – One small business in Webb City is just kicking off its busiest time of the year.

The Bridgestone Christmas Tree Farm in Webb City opened this weekend, drawing holiday lovers in search of the perfect evergreen.

After selecting their tree, families shopped for ornaments and other decorations.

More people are going all out for Christmas this year, hoping to raise spirits and brighten up their homes during these unprecedented times.

“I think people were looking for something to get outside and do, especially with travel being restricted. They knew they’d stay home for Christmas, so there’s probably a bigger demand for Christmas trees,” said Andy Johnson, owner of the tree farm.

Johnson says customers kept them busy on Friday as well.
