Quapaw tribe hosts “Rock Your Mocs Day”

QUAPAW, Okla. – November is Native American Heritage Month, and in honor of that, the Quapaw tribe Friday hosted “Rock Your Mocs Day.”

All Quapaw tribal members were encouraged to wear their moccasins all day.

The “mocs” we came across were all made in the traditional style with deer hide.
