Joplin Firefighter Serves Drive Thru Chili

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin and Redings Mill fire departments teamed up for a fun fundraiser, passing out chili in exchange for donations for their Christmas for Kids program.

Fire personnel from both departments set up shop in Finn’s restaurant parking lot in Joplin, a convenient spot for people to stop by and get a hot cup of tasty chili on a pretty chilly day.

The firefighters came up with this idea as an alternative to their annual chili cook off.

If you missed the chili, but still want to help out with the Christmas for Kids program, just give the Joplin Fire Department a call and arrange to drop off your donation.
