Glenda Halper

Glenda May Halper, 77, a resident of Fredonia, died peacefully November 16, 2020 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born July 14, 1943, in Redondo Beach, California to Thomas Jefferson and Hazel Emma (Ward) Pullan.

A CNA, she worked in nursing homes in several Kansas communities. She married Stephen Carl Puckett in Fredonia, and the couple later divorced.

On December 1, 1994, she married Michael Halper in Miami, Oklahoma, and he survives at the home.

1 Great-Great-Grandchild

Sister, Jannie Cates of Manford, Oklahoma
Brother, Tommy Pullan of Okeene, Oklahoma

Her daughter, Kathy Boden; son, Carl Puckett; one grandson, Stephen Reddick; one brother, Bobby Pullan, and an infant sister, Mary Esther, preceded her in death.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
