Joplin City Council approves several grants

JOPLIN, Mo – The Joplin City Council approves a work authorization to Guide House LLC for $420,000.

The money will come from community development block grants.

The council also voted to rename the Tri-State Mineral Museum to the Joplin Historical Museum.

They also approved a $50,000 grant to address homelessness, as well as a $17,000 grant to track the homeless population.
