Mask mandate takes effect for Nevada School District Monday

NEVADA, Mo. – The Nevada R-5 School District will implement a mask mandate for grades 6-12 starting Monday, Nov. 16.

School officials made the announcement early Sunday afternoon.Nevada Hs Post

All NHS students must wear masks before entering the buildings and will remain masked while in all classroom settings.

Students who forget or lose their mask will be supplied with one.

Any student who fails to comply with the mandate will be sent home immediately.
