WEBB CITY, Mo. – The 4th Annual Holiday Merry Market event in Webb City drew holiday shoppers from across the area.

Boutiques, merchants and other stores on Main Street helped make this a unique shopping experience that encouraged shopping small.

This year Society Marketplace offered free photos with Santa along with a hot cocoa bar, and various merchants inside the store sold discounted decor, furniture and holiday items.

“It’s very important. I think, you know, I know a lot of people personally who have had to close business and I think it helps us. It helps us keep our doors open,” said Kathie England, owner of Society Marketplace.

A spring market is usually held as well, but due to the pandemic, it was cancelled.
