Jack Dale Wyatt, Sr. of Miami, OK passed from this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his home. He was 87.

Jack was born April 17, 1933 in Douthat, OK to Charles Mallory and Zora Marie (Woods) Wyatt. He was a Commerce and Miami lifetime resident. Jack graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1952. He worked for B.F. Goodrich for 30 years and owned and operated Wyatt’s Grocery Store in Commerce, OK for 9 years as well as pet shops and antique shops. He was a member of Wayside Assembly of God Church in Wyandotte, OK where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher and Royal Ranger leader.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Wyatt November 11, 2019, his parents, 1 brother Charles Wyatt, Jr., 2 step brothers Kenneth Phillips and Homer Phillips, 3 sisters Louise Phillips, Betty Murphy and Shirley Lyle, 1 step sister Beulah Pooler, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson.

Survivors include 3 sons Jack Dale Wyatt, Jr., and wife Sue of Miami, OK, Curtis Wyatt and wife Sheila of Talala, OK and Rick Wyatt and wife Pam of Moundville, AL, 1 daughter Jammie Sartin and husband David of Miami, OK, 1 brother Jim Wyatt and wife Doris of Fairland, OK, 1 step brother Norman Phillips of Exeter, MO, 3 step sisters Maxine Foster of Lawrence, KS, Fern Hart of Commerce, OK and Gladys Dorsey of Beebe, AR, 8 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Commerce First Assembly of God Church in Commerce, OK. Pastor Howie Moss will officiate. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com
