Hideout Harley Davidson hosts chili cook off to fundraise for Bikes 4 Tykes

JOPLIN, Mo. – There’s nothing quite like chili on a cold day, and Hideout Harley Davidson in Joplin took advantage of people’s appetites to help out a cause close to their hearts.

Hideout hosted a chili cook off, inviting the community to put their cooking skills to the test for a small entry fee of five dollars.
Customers judged the dropped off samples.

Money raised goes towards the bikes for tykes fundraiser, providing bicycles for kids at Christmas time.

“We also set up donations to where anyone can come by anytime, whether it’s a dollar or you know however much they want to donate, they can stop by from now until the 22nd of next month and donate and then we’ll gather all that money up right before we take the bikes and we’ll buy however many we can and get them all dropped off” said marketing events and advertising administrator, Jordan Gregory.

Bikes can also be donated at Hideout, so far they have around 22 bikes.
