With a Vietnam Wall and all, this memorial is a gem of the region.

Right off Rouse Street in South Pittsburg sits a parking lot with a sign indicating the entrance to a Veterans Memorial.

If you leave your car and walk into the bowl, you’ll immediately see why it’s the perfect location to spend your Veterans Day.

This morning, we went live from the magnificent memento to understand what it means to those who serve our country, and how one of the three Vietnam War Memorial Wall replicas ended up in Southeast Kansas.

Ways to watch the PSU Veterans Day Broadcast at 11:00am:

A very special thank you to Captain Erick Leon, Cadet Ryan Hinman, and Kathleen Flannery for their time and perspective.
