MDC: Don’t forget Hunter Orange requirements ahead of firearms deer season

MDC reminds hunters of the mandatory hunter orange requirements ahead of the 2020 fall firearms deer season Nov. 14-24. Hunters must wear a hunter orange hat and a hunter orange vest, shirt, or coat that is visible from all sides.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (Release from MDC) – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reminds hunters not to forget their hunter orange before heading out the door for opening weekend of firearms deer season Nov. 14-24. Hunters must wear a hunter orange hat and a hunter orange vest, shirt, or coat. The color must be visible from all sides. Camouflage orange does not satisfy this rule.
