OSWEGO, KANSAS: David Lee Beckencamp, age 75, passed away at 4:07 am, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Labette Health, Parsons, KS after a brief illness.

David was born April 18, 1945 to W, H. and Colene Breckencamp in Portland, OR. He grew up and attended school in Erie, KS. After graduating from Erie High School, he joined the Army and served in various countries overseas.

He worked for Hoskins Chevrolet, Oswego Motor Supply and USD 504 before retiring. David was an active member of the Classic Chevy Club and the Oswego VFW.

On August 15, 1969, David married Kathy Smith in Oswego. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include a sister, Sharon Lamburtus, Dallas, TX and a brother, Brian Breckencamp. Salina, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS for cremation. No services are planned.
