NEOSHO, Mo. – Despite the warm weather, there’s a festive chill taking over the air as people prepare for Christmas.

On Saturday, the Neosho Farmers Market teamed up with nearly 50 local vendors for the its third annual handmade holiday market.

In an effort to help curb COVID-19, the outdoor shopping opportunity featured hand-washing stations and extra space to allow for social distancing.

The even included plenty of tasty treats, carefully crafted knickknacks and other unique gift items.

“It’s just there is so many creative entrepreneurial people in this neighborhood, in this community, and this is such a great venue. Some of these vendors will out grow this and go on to make their own stand alone shop and some of them already do,” said Master Scott Hall with the Neosho Farmers Market.

Artisans and producers from a seven county area helped stock this event.
