Car show for a cause

NEOSHO, Mo. – Saturday afternoon, gearheads got together for a car show in Neosho that was raising funds for a growing sports complex.

4 States Sports will feature four gyms, baseball and softball fields, a water park, and climbing walls, but they’ve got to pay for it all somehow.

The fundraising event featured live music and a corn hole tournament.

The founder of 4 States Sports says his vision is starting to take shape.

“It’s going great. We just laid the foundation yesterday for the weight room. That was the first step. We want to grow slowly so we can afford it and keep people safe from COVID,” said 4 States Sports founder Chris Martin.

A poker run and a silent auction were also part of the event’s entertainment.
