Marilynn Ann Drake age 63, of Buffalo, KS passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 due to an auto accident. Marilynn was born on June 23, 1957 in Casper, WY the daughter of Denzel and Zelda Fay (Sanders) Bird.

Marilynn was a currently a homemaker and had worked as a CNA, CMA and a business owner. Marilynn was also at one time the City Clerk of Buffalo.

On January 12, 1976 in Yates Center, KS., Marilynn married Michael Drake.

Maverick Drake and wife Tia
Misty Schroeder and husband Clifton of Garden City, MO
Melinda Wilson and husband Levi of Fredonia, KS

Victor Bird
Linda Stoldt and husband Fred of Holiday, FL

19 Grandchildren

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, sibling: Cynthia Schlotterbeck, granddaughter Monica Drake and sister in law Jeannie Drake

Cremation has been requested, with private family funeral services at a later date. Memorials are suggested in Marilynn’s name to the Charity of you choice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Services entrusted to: Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720
