Great weekend and then some changes. -Doug
Latest updated blog: Great weekend and then some changes. -Doug

I hope everyone had a fantastic week and of course enjoyed the great weather over the past 7 days.  I am ready for the weekend!  The weather is going to be fantastic.  I will actually be in Florida for a week as I want my son to get away from all of this cancer stuff and have some fun.  I will even be pretty close to what should be tropical storm eta next week.  That makes me pretty happy to be honest.  The HP (Heady Pattern) is rolling right along and is an interesting pattern.  The weather models are still trying to get a grasp of it and it will take them a couple more months.  However, the pattern isn’t the most active, but we will get some big systems each cycle.  I will do my winter forecast here in about 2 weeks and give you the lowdown on what is to come.  Alright, Saturday looks great.  A little windy but great!

Planner

Sunday looks great as well.  A few more clouds and a slight chance for a shower, but pretty good.

Sunday

Our next storm system rolls in mainly late Monday and into Tuesday.

Tuesday

This will give us rain chances and cooler temperatures into the 50s.  We will see a break on Wednesday, then another system with rain chances on Thursday.

Thursday

This will cool us back down again before warming up a bit next weekend.  But at least the pattern is picking up a bit.  Check out my long range forecast below.

Next Saturday:  Mild and nice

November 15th-21st:  Rain chances on Sunday and turning cooler for Monday.  Another system on Tuesday and Wednesday with some rain chances.  Cool and dry the rest of the week.

November 22nd-28th:  It is Thanksgiving week.  The first half of the week looks mild and dry.  However, rain chances for the holiday and the holiday weekend with cooler temperatures working in.

November 29th-December 5th:  Mainly a cool week with rain chances on Monday and Tuesday.  Then again by Friday and Saturday that could mix with some snow.

December 6th-12th:  A mild start but a cold finish with rain chances on Tuesday.   Turning much colder with rain and snow chances from Thursday through Saturday.

COVID-19 polling place serves more than 300 Greene County voters

It’s safe to say voting on Tuesday looked a lot different than general elections in the past.  As Greene County voters headed to the polls amid a global pandemic, they wore masks and stood six feet apart. They took home their pens and made use of abundant hand sanitizer. But […]
