National Outlook for Monday

A chilly air mass will overtake much of the eastern U.S. into Monday along with areas of rain, while locally heavy snowfall is possible downwind of Lakes Erie and Ontario. Elsewhere, temperatures will gradually turn warmer from the Western U.S. into portions of the Plains. Dry and gusty conditions will result in elevated fire weather concerns over parts of southern California.
