Police say a man was shot multiple times early Monday morning at a Springfield apartment complex.

Jasmine Bailey, spokesperson for the Springfield Police Department, said the 911 call came in at 4:25 a.m. for shots fired at the Hunter’s Glen Apartments on West Erie Street.

When officers arrived, Bailey said they found a man outside of an apartment unit with multiple gunshot wounds.

Bailey said the victim was transported to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Police are working to identify a suspect in the case.
