VERNON COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities search for a man in connection with a Vernon County, Missouri homicide. Police say the body of a 63-year-old woman was found in the Deerfield area. The Hot Springs, Arkansas police department also released information on a suspicious package found at a Walmart they say is connected to that death. Authorities are looking for Aaron Goodman in connection with the homicide. He’s wanted for abandonment of a corpse. They believe he is armed and dangerous and say he was last seen in hot springs.

JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – With covid concerns many people are deciding to vote early, across the nation, and here in the 4-States. According to Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis, the county has more than double the number of absentee ballots this year than in the 2016 presidential election. Davis says the majority of those voting early are senior citizens and people taking advantage of the modified rules for voting absentee.

TOPEKA, Kan. – Kansas continues to set new state records for reported coronavirus cases and Covid-19 related hospitalizations. Governor Laura Kelly said in a news conference, she urges communities to implement mask mandates at the local level — but also suggested the state may take matters in to their own hands.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A nationwide spike in coronavirus cases is sounding new alarms. New infections are up in 45 states over the past two weeks. Nearly 95 percent of the U.S. population lives in a state where cases are rising. The U.S. is about to surpass nine million confirmed cases.
