Two areas in Atlantic We’re Still Watching
Tropicalupdate

The latest look at the Tropics doesn’t show much change compared to our last update. We don’t have any active systems while we continue to keep an eye on two areas in the Atlantic Basin. The non-tropical low 700 miles southeast of Bermuda continues to show organizing rain and t-storms. With the environment still very conducive for additional development, this low has a 90% chance within the next 5 days to become a subtropical or tropical depression. Elsewhere, we’re still waiting for a broad low to develop within the next few days in the southwestern Caribbean Sea. With some gradual development possible after this low forms, it’ll have a 20% chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 5 days.
