Missouri State Highway Patrol, drowning, Table Rock Lake

A man who was swimming in Table Rock Lake Wednesday afternoon drowned when he went under water and never resurfaced.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says divers recovered the body of Nicholas C. Hart, 31, of West Memphis, Arkansas, shortly after he disappeared under water near North Indian Creek. 

According to the Patrol, Hart was not wearing a life jacket.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stone County coroner.
