Name released of man found dead in Duquesne house fire

DUQUESNE, Mo. – Authorities release the name of a man found dead after a house fire is put out in Duquesne, Missouri.

On Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, police received a call around 9:30 a.m. about a fire at a duplex on E. 10th Street.

Joplin, Webb City and Duenweg Fire Departments responded.

After putting out the fire, firefighters found a deceased man inside. They have identified him as Corey Green, 36, who lived at the home.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of his death and the fire.
