Sunday COVID-19 Coverage: 25 new cases in Boone County

As COVID-19 continues to spread, KOMU 8 will continue to update you about impacts in the community.

4:30 p.m.: 12 new cases in Callaway County

Callaway County added 12 new cases on Friday. There are a total of 171 active cases with 4 deaths.

4:25 p.m.: 61 new cases in Cole County

Cole County added 61 new cases on Friday. There are a total of 252 active cases with 8 total deaths.

4:00 p.m.: 25 new cases in Boone County

According to the Boone County, MO COVID-19 Information Hub, there have been 5,223 total cases in the county since the pandemic began, which is an increase of 25 since Saturday.

There are now 365 active cases in the county. There are 58 people currently hospitalized in the county, 18 of which are Boone County residents. No new deaths were reported on Sunday.
