Perry Willits

Perry A. Willits, 69, of Cherryvale, died on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 15, 1951 in Kendallville, Indiana to Ralph and Gladys (Wilson) Willits.

He moved to Kansas in 1961 and had attended schools in both Indiana and Neodesha. Perry enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Perry had worked at Power Flame in Parsons and was currently working at Catalyst Converter in Independence.

He and Sandra K. “Sandy” Greenwood were married in 1972. They later divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Willits and his wife, Sarah, of Bartlesville, OK and Westley Willits of Parsons; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Goodwin, Nadia Goodwin and Mason Willits; two brothers, Chester Willits, of South Carolina and Sherwin Willits of Neodesha; three sisters, Doris Bonger and Bernice Gannon, both of Indiana and Phyllis Stinecipher, of Neodesha.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Neodesha Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Monday at the Carson- Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. Memorials are suggested to (PALS) Proud Animal Lovers Shelter and they may be left at or mailed to the funeral home P.O. Box 942, Parsons, Kansas 67357.
