Cardinals fall 7-1 to Bruins in game 2

WEBB CITY, Mo. – Webb City softball was in action Saturday. The Cardinals played a double-header before heading into the Class 4 District 6 tournament on Tuesday.

The Cardinals fell 11-to-4 in game one against Kickapoo.

Webb City faced Rock Bridge in game 2. The Cardinals are number 1 in Class 4 and the Bruins are number 1 in Class 5. Rock Bridge entered the contest undefeated, 23-And-0.

The Cardinals dropped game two to Rock Bridge, 7-1.

Webb City senior pitcher Haidyn Berry had 4 strikeouts and allows 7 runs on 7 hits against Rock Bridge.

Rock Bridge senior pitcher Ella Schouten had 13 strikeouts.

Webb City is now 22-5 heading into the district tournament.
