Police said Friday three suspects have been arrested in connection with a string of commercial robberies in the Springfield area.

Noah Risenhoover, 17, Tyler Martin, 23, and Timothy Barnett, 18, are facing several potential charges after authorities say they were behind a half-dozen robberies in the past week at local businesses.

The group is accused of holding up the Fast-N-Friendly on North Kansas Expressway and the Casey’s on West Chestnut Expressway on Sunday, the Walgreens on East St. Louis Street on Monday, the Kum & Go on South Campbell Avenue on Tuesday, the Fireworks Supermarket on Wednesday, the Jump Stop on South Glenstone Avenue on Thursday and a Kum & Go on North National Avenue on Friday.

A news release from the Springfield Police Department says Risenhoover was arrested by Greene County Sheriff’s deputies on Thursday following the robbery at the fireworks store.

Martin and Barnett were arrested Friday after a robbery at the Kum & Go at National Avenue and Chestnut Expressway, according to the release.

The release says during Friday’s robbery, the suspects fired a gun at a witness, who was not hit.

Greene County deputies pursued Martin and Barnett after Friday morning’s robbery and the suspects were both eventually apprehended, the release says.

As of 3 p.m. Friday, criminal charges had not been filed, but police said they would be submitting the cases to prosecutors.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869- TIPS (8477).
