Columbia police investigating overnight shooting

COLUMBIA — Officers from the Columbia Police Department are back on the scene investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. 

Police confirmed that multiple victims were shot at about 12:15 on Sunday morning on Volunteer Drive near Grace Lane. 

KOMU 8 reporters on the scene described multiple homes blocked off by crime scene tape. 

Police have not yet released any details on the number or condition of victims. 

This is a developing story. KOMU 8 will provide updates as they become available.
