May is mental health awareness month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and according to a 2017 national survey, one in five Americans has a mental illness. That’s why KOMU 8 Cares: A Brighter Tomorrow is partnering with the United Way of Central Missouri to recognize the impact mental health has on ourselves in others.
