Milton Dwight Hencey, 76, passed away at his home on April 16, 2020. He was born April 12, 1944 in rural Arcadia, KS to Arthur Estes Hencey To Bonnie Mae Wheeler.
Milton married Lana Dianne Cavett in Hobbs, NM January 8, 1971. They resided in or near Hobbs, NM their 49 years of marriage. Milton was a mechanic and worked for various oil field companies during his career. He was a talented musician and played various instruments. He loved country music, rock ‘n roll and in his later years, Blue Grass. He was a member of the SENM Blue Grass Association. He was an NRA member and enjoyed hunting and shooting clay pigeons.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Carol Bridgewater and on Great grandson, Clayton Michael.
Surviving him are his wife, Lana, of the home, one son, Douglas Hencey and wife Melinda of Hobbs, NM, two daughters, Diane Henry of Hobbs, NM and Destiny Cline of Lubbock, TX, two brothers, Robert E. Hencey of rural Arcadia, KS, Don J. Hencey and partner Frances M. Tewell, both of rural Girard, KS, one sister, Sharon S. DeGruson of rural Arcadia and five grandchildren.
