Watching for an afternoon and evening severe threat
Fridaysevere

The front coming in late Thursday will stick around as we get the weekend started. That will keep mostly cloudy skies around for Friday as temperatures also stay warm with highs in the upper 70s. Late Friday afternoon and into late Friday night, the front will fire off another round of scattered t-storms that could be strong to severe. Most of the area is under a slight (or low) severe threat due to the setup leading to t-storms that could produce some large hail, high wind and heavy rain. While the tornado threat stays low, we’ll be watching for the developing t-storms between 3 in the afternoon and up until about the midnight hour as we head into Saturday.
