Delta Dental gives grants for teaching importance of dental health

Delta Dental of Missouri had $1.5 million it wanted to give out, and a Joplin clinic is benefiting.  The dental benefits provider issues yearly grants to support outreach initiatives, educational programs, and charitable causes that teach people about the importance of dental health and provide free care to those who can’t afford it.

The Community Clinic of Southwest Missouri does a lot of that.  The folks there provide dental care, education, and hygiene supplies to people without dental insurance.  So, Delta Dental gave them $15,000.
