A Webb City man dies after overcorrecting his truck in Newton County.

Around 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 47-year-old Gregory S. Lumpkins was driving on I-49, two miles north of Neosho, Missouri when he went off the left side of the ramp.

Lumpkins overcorrected, going off the right side of the road, overturning his vehicle.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

He died on the scene.

This is Troop D’s fifth fatality for 2020.
