Two people are arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Pittsburg.

Earlier this month, on January 4, police investigated a burglarized storage shed at Westside Mini Storage located at 405 N. Georgia St. in Pittsburg.

Another storage shed was burglarized there on Jan. 13.

Surveillance video showed a man and woman breaking into the storage unit, attempting to steal a motor vehicle from the business.

On Friday, Jan. 17, police were able to identify the suspects.

Investigators took both into custody without incident for questioning where each admitted to the crimes as well as two separate residential burglaries.

Both are being held at the Crawford County Jail facing multiple drug and burglary charges.

Names will be released pending confirmation of charges.
