While we wait for rain chances and wintry weather to return

Good late Tuesday evening, everyone. Sure enough, we had to start our Tuesday out with mostly cloudy skies and some areas of fog this morning. Once we got rid of the fog and some of the clouds, we were able to climb out of the 40s and work back into the middle to upper 50s this afternoon. Looking ahead in the short term, the clouds are working back in for tonight along with some areas of fog to get your Wednesday morning started.

We’ll go back into the 50s for Wednesday, but we’ll actually get back into that territory as we work into the morning. Thanks to a south wind starting to bring in some warmer air (temporarily), we’ll have temperatures climb back into the lower to middle 50s by the start of the morning drive. Before a cold front sweeps through late in the morning, we’ll have highs around lunchtime topping out in the middle 50s. Once the wind behind the front cranks back out of the north, temperatures will start to drop throughout the afternoon. The colder air will start working in and setting us up for our next storm system that’s still set to work in on Thursday. The latest on that, plus the rest of the forecast going into next week, is right down below…

Don’t forget that Doug has your long range forecast based off his Heady Pattern through February down below.

Have a good night and a great Wednesday!

Nick
