CAMDENTON, Mo. – Always Wright and Andreis Gaines came up big for the Joplin Eagles (7-3) on Friday night, leading the team to a 63-36 win over the Camdenton Lakers.

Wright had a team-high 16 points on Friday night, while Gaines game off the bench to score 14 points for the Eagles.

“He’s played two good games in a row. He certainly sparked us tonight off the bench,” Joplin head coach Jeff Hafer says of Gaines, “I believe we went on a 15-0 run when he came in the game.”

Joplin senior Dakarai Allen did not play Friday night, but is expected to be ready to go when the Eagles host the Kaminsky Classic beginning on Thursday.

Isaiah Davis was also in double figures for Joplin, scoring 12 points.

Other scorers: Zach Westmoreland (6), Blake Tash (4), Fielding Campbell (4), Tommy Hafer (3), Will Rader (2), Micah Bruggeman (2).
