Ashcroft Announces Program on Historic Missouri Roadsides

Jefferson City, MO (STL.News) – Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft Monday announced a Thursday Evening Speaker Series program exploring Missouri’s historic roadsides.  The program will be held in the Interpretive Center of the James C. Kirkpatrick State Information Center, the location of the Secretary of State’s State Archives, on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at 7 p.m.

In his latest book, Historic Missouri Roadsides, Second Edition, author and executive director of the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation, Bill Hart, offers all the history, recommendations and itineraries you need for a picturesque trip down one of Missouri’s quaint two-lane roads or scenic highways.
