Pharmacist, Steven Baraban, Ordered to Repay $125,000 to Missouri’s Medicaid Program



Jefferson City, MO (STL.News) – Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced that Steven Baraban, pursuant to a plea agreement, was sentenced in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri to 3 years probation and ordered to repay Missouri’s Medicaid program $125,102.50.  Baraban’s sentencing follows his March 1, 2019, guilty plea to one count of health care fraud.

“When individuals like Steven Baraban rig the Medicaid system for unlawful personal gain, our elderly and sick are the most adversely affected,” said Attorney General Schmitt.
