SAINT LOUIS, MO – Jan. 23, 2019 – After yesterday’s announcement of Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s “Safer Streets” Initiative, Schmitt kicked off the community outreach component of the initiative earlier today.  In addition to designating prosecutors as “Special Assistant United States Attorneys” to help combat and prosecute violent crime in areas of St. Louis, continual community outreach is another important part of the Safer Streets Initiative.  Today, Attorney General Schmitt visited Mount Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in St.
