JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Jan. 13, 2019 – When Daniel Bates left his Affton home on Dec. 21 to purchase a gift for a family member, he did not know that he would shortly be returning home—to tell his wife and grandson that he had uncovered a $100,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery “NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION™” holiday ticket.

Bates bought the winning ticket at Wallis Petroleum, located at 9765 Mackenzie Road in Affton, a convenience store that Bates frequents.
