Missouri Lottery News: Excelsior Springs Resident, Jesse Cosens, Wins $50,000

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The sweet smell of peppermints led one Excelsior Springs man to a $50,000 win.  Jesse Cosens uncovered a top prize on the Missouri Lottery’s scented holiday Scratchers game, “Peppermint Payout.”  He purchased the ticket at Hy-Vee Gas, 8371 N. St. Clair Ave., in Kansas City.

“Peppermint Payout” is a $3 ticket that began on Oct. 15.  It offers more than $4.9 million in remaining prizes, including two more top prizes of $50,000.
