Missouri Lottery News: Springfield Resident, David Aicholtz, Captures Grand Prize in Calendar Contest

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Out of more than 1,000 submissions, the Missouri Lottery’s 2019 “Show Me Animals” calendar contest has been narrowed down to 13 winners.  David Aicholtz’s photo of a cardinal in his Springfield backyard was selected as the contest’s grand-prize winner and will be featured as the 2019 calendar cover photo.

“We received photo entries for every kind of Missouri animal you could imagine,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.
