Missouri News: AG Josh Hawley Announces Charges Filed against former Gasconade County Sheriff’s Deputy, Matthew A. Hutchings

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley yesterday announced that his office has filed felony criminal charges in Gasconade County against former Gasconade County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew A. Hutchings.  Deputy Hutchings is charged with two counts of sodomy in the first degree, and one count of sexual abuse in the first degree.

In March, while on duty, Deputy Hutchings sexually assaulted a woman in her home.  The two had previously met online.
