$1 Million Powerball ticket sold in Joplin, Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Was it a local resident stopping in for a quick snack or a tank of gas who added a last-minute Powerball ticket to their purchase?  Or maybe it was someone who went to the store specifically to buy tickets for the high Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots this week?  Whatever the case, a customer at Snak-Atak, 4302 South Main Street in Joplin, can now lay claim to a $1 million Powerball prize after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in the October 10 drawing.
