Missouri News: U.S. Congressman Sam Graves Applauds FCC’s Rural Broadband Auction Awarding Missouri



WASHINGTON – Yesterday, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) awarded nearly $255 million to expand rural broadband in the State of Missouri, the most of any state.  This award was distributed through the FCC’s Connect America Fund Phase II Auction, which will award $1.5 billion over 10 years to 45 states.  With Missouri ranking 42nd in broadband availability, the support from the FCC will certainly help in our goal to provide highspeed broadband access to all of rural Missouri.
