Missouri News: Branson Alderwoman Betsy Seay Resigns



BRANSON, MO – Branson Alderwoman Betsy Seay is resigning from the Board of Aldermen as of September 1, 2018.  Mayor Karen Best read a resignation letter from Seay at Tuesday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting.

Alderwoman Seay has served on the board, representing Ward III for 2 1/2 Years.  Seay has moved out of her district and according to City code can no longer serve on the board.

In her resignation letter, addressed to the Mayor, Board, City staff and community members Seay said, “It has been an honor to serve the people of Branson for the last two and a half years.
